Adding a New Student to a Class

How to enroll new students while creating or editing a class.

Students can be added to the Student List in several ways. They can be defined in advance with the Student Wizard or they can be added directly to a class with the Class Wizard. Students can also be defined in group operations with the Bulk Import Wizard that is available from several pages.

In some cases, it is easier to add students directly to the first class in which they are enrolled rather than defining them before the classes are created.  The Class Wizard and Edit Class page both have built-in features to dynamically create new students.  If these are used, the student will simultaneously be added to the overall Student List and then enrolled in the class being defined.  The student definition is then also available to be enrolled in subsequent classes without having to be defined again.
