Students can be added to the Student List in several ways.  They can be defined in advance with the Student Wizard or they can be added directly to a class with the Class Wizard.  Students can also be defined in group operations with the Bulk Import Wizard that is available from several pages.

In order to define students before they are enrolled in classes, the student information must be added to the Student List.  During class definition, then, all existing students will be available to add to the class enrollment.  

To add the student, first invoke the Student Wizard by selecting +Add Student from the Students list.

First, provide the required information about the new student, including the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.  Since students are primarily identified by their email address, each email address registered must be unique. That is, you can add multiple students with the same name but you cannot add multiple students with the same email address. This email address is then used to send all class invitations and other class-related notifications.

Optionally, a Phone Number may also be added.  If specified, the Phone Number must include the country code and be in the format required for each country with spaces as delimiters between the parts of the phone number (e.g., area codes, city codes).

Once the student information is entered, select Create to add the new student into the Student List.

Congratulations!  You've just added a student.  You can now enroll this student in classes.
