How to delete a student from the Student List.
Once a student has been defined, whether explicitly added to the Student List or added through a class enrollment, the student will exist in the Student List. If the student was entered by mistake or is, for any reason, no longer necessary, the student can be deleted from the Student List.
Deleting an existing Student
To delete an existing student, first open the Students list. If necessary, use the Search feature to locate the desired student. Then, select Delete next to the desired student. To avoid accidentally deleting a student, an additional confirmation dialog will be shown before the delete is performed. Select OK to delete the student, or Cancel to discontinue the delete operation.
NOTE:
Students that have previously been enrolled in classes but have never logged in can be deleted from the Student List. In this case, when the student is deleted, the student will also be removed from all classes in which they were enrolled.
Students that have previously been enrolled in classes and have logged in at least once cannot be deleted from the Student List. If you try to delete a student with these characteristics, the error message "Cannot delete students with billing tokens" will be shown. To delete the student anyway, please contact OrasiLabs Support for help.
