Can I use my existing virtual machine images in OrasiLabs?

Take advantage of existing training images to accelerate class development in OrasiLabs.

If you've already created Amazon AWS virtual machine images that you want to reuse in OrasiLabs, you can quickly and easily add them into the OrasiLabs environment.  All you need is the fully-qualified AMI and OrasiLabs will create lab templates from your existing resources.  This lets you reuse content you've already developed and accelerates your path to productivity with OrasiLabs.

OrasiLabs can also take advantage of Amazon's AMI import utility to reuse other virtualization assets as well.  As of this writing, Amazon's import utility lists support for objects created in VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure.  Please see Amazon's website for the latest list of supported import formats.

Once added into OrasiLabs, your imported lab templates can then be used as building blocks to deliver a class or to build other templates.  These lab templates can also be modified in OrasiLabs, allowing you to customize them for all classes or class-by-class, as needed.
