Understand what information is displayed on the dashboard.


The Dashboard is usually the first page you will encounter upon logging in to OrasiLabs. It provides information about your account and activities within OrasiLabs and can be found by selecting Dashboard in the left menu panel at any time after logging into OrasiLabs.

 

 

 

Customizing the Dashboard

Each user of OrasiLabs can customize their own Dashboard to display the information most useful to them and their role. Select Manage Widgets at the top right of the Dashboard. A list of available widgets will be presented. Select the add/remove icons as desired. Depending on your account type, you may not have all of the widgets listed below:

 

 

 

 

Widgets Available to All Users

  • Onboarding Guide: Walks users through the main tasks relevant to their user group and permissions. The guide includes a high-level explanation of each task, a button to navigate to the task, and Help Center articles for more information.

  • Limits: Displays messages related to any cloud account limits that may be exceeded or have reached a predetermined threshold. NOTE: Tenant owners will also receive an email notification for any limits that require attention.

  • My Classes: Displays a list of the user's scheduled classes that have not yet started. The start date, the number of days the class is scheduled for, and the number of students invited to each class are also displayed.

  • Resources Accruing Cloud Charges: Displays information for any lab templates and class labs that are running or paused.

 

Additional Widgets Available to Administrators

  • Today's Classes - Provides Administrators a list of classes scheduled for the current date. For each class listed, you will see the total number of days the class is scheduled for, and also the number of students invited to the class.

  • Cloud Provider Billing: Displays the charges accumulated for each cloud account as of the last time the cloud provider updated their billing data. Note this is usually current as of the previous day. A forecast of the monthly accumulated charges is also displayed for each cloud account. The forecast amount is provided by the cloud provider and is based on current charges and historic usage.

  • Total Server Hours: Displays the total number of consumed hours for the day, week, or month.
