What is a Class?
A class in OrasiLabs is a specific training event that has a start date and an end date. This could be any activity that involves hands-on application training such as workshops, seminars, lunch and learns, onsite classes and virtual classes.
Each class created in OrasiLabs will be created as either an instructor-led or an on-demand class.
Instructor-led classes have an instructor that delivers the class, monitors the student's progress. All students in an instructor-led class share the same start and end date as the class.
On-demand classes do not need an instructor present while the students are active. Instead, each student starts and stops their labs at their own convenience. Each student in an on-demand class can have different start and end dates. On-demand classes are intended to be used when you want your class to be active for an extended period of time and register students as needed. On-demand classes are ideal for a self-paced delivery model.
All classes in OrasiLabs are created using one or more lab templates which define the lab environment that will be used for any hands-on activities. The class labs can be started and stopped by the instructor or automatically started based on a schedule.
