Activating and Deactivating User Accounts

How to activate and deactivate user accounts.


Overview

*This functionality is only available to Administrator accounts.

 

OrasiLabs User Accounts are created and edited on the User Management page.  In addition, OrasiLabs allows the administrator to temporarily disable a user account, without deleting it, and then reactivate again a later time.  This can be useful in cases where a user account needs to be temporarily suspended for security, budget, or other reasons.   Once a user account is disabled, the account cannot be used to access OrasiLabs unless it is reactivated.

 

Deactivating a User Account:

The following steps can be used to deactivate an OrasiLabs user account: 

  1. Select User Management from the left-hand menu of OrasiLabs.

  2. Locate the user account that you want to deactivate, and then select the Deactivate Icon under Actions on the right side of the page.

 


Reactivating a User Account:

The following steps can be used to reactivate an OrasiLabs user account: 

  1. Select User Management from the left-hand menu of OrasiLabs.

  2. Select Show Inactive Users at the top of the list of users. 

  3. Locate the user account that you want to activate and then select the Activate User Icon under Actions on the right side of the page.
