Can OrasiLabs support training environments with more than one server?

Complex training environments are created with an intuitive drag and drop interface.

Yes, OrasiLabs can build complex training environments with any number of lab images (e.g., servers).  These images can either be dedicated to each student, or they can be shared by the whole classroom.

For example, let's say you're teaching a class on database programming.  You'd first need one lab image for the students to use when they are writing code.  That image might use Windows 2019 or Ubuntu Desktop and would need the programming IDE (e.g,. Eclipse) and a Java JDK pre-installed for the students.

In the same class environment, you'd also need a database server for the students to access when writing their code.  That database server can either be part of the student lab image (each student has their own server to access) or it can be shared by the entire class (only one database server is deployed and everyone can access it).

To add the second server, you would simply use the Lab Template Designer and drag a new database object into the pane.  All lab objects within a Lab Template automatically have network visibility to each other.  If you also wanted to make the database server accessible from the internet, you'd merely drag a port object to the pane as well.

In a situation like the above, your Lab Template design might look like the figure below.  In this example, once the template is added to a class, each student will have a separate environment that includes one desktop IDE image and a dedicated database server.
